Meet Our Executive Officers
Angelo O. Muhammad, President

Born and raised in Plainfield, New Jersey by his father Joseph T. Washington and grandmother Mildred Washington. He later resided with his mother Irene Dasher. He graduated from Plainfield High School and furthered his education at Kean College in Union, New Jersey, studying Business Management and went on to the School of Film and Video Arts in New York City. He attained the status of Registered Public Purchasing Specialist through his studies at Rutgers University. Employed by Prudential Asset Management Company in 1982 and later opening the Ebony Man Barber Shop and A-1 Party Supply Store, in Orange, New Jersey.
He has produced documentaries including Breast Cancer Awareness, Prostate Cancer - Survivors and Solutions and The Aftermath of Haiti - Rebuilding a Nation and has covered the 2008 Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama, the Haiti earthquake aftermath of 2010. He also scripted, directed and produced an award winning historical video for the City of Douglasville Television Programming. Some of his news coverage has been officially accepted and shown on CNN. He founded Giving Initiatives and Alternatives, Inc. in 2008 and received the 501©3 designation in 2010. He served as a member of BEHE and organized and chaired the first Juneteenth celebration in Douglasville, GA in 2009. He also spearheaded a "Stop the Killing" program in Plainfield, NJ in 2011. He served as Vice President of the Sweetwater Camera Club from 2009 to 2011. He has four children, Tariq, Malcolm, Asia and Omar. His step-daughter Gia Arrington is the namesake of this organization.

Roosevelt Nelson Jr., Vice President

Born in Newark, NJ to Leila and Roosevelt Nelson, Sr. and raised in Plainfield, NJ where he attended Plainfield High School and later graduated from Addison High School in Hollywood, CA before moving back to New Jersey.
Once there, he became active with the Local Jaycees, a community based social organization and as a mentor in the T.R.A.P. Program which helps to rehabilitate former prisoners.
He has been driving long distance tractor trailers for over fifteen years. He relocated to Georgia in 1999 and is very active in Food Ministry of Mount Carmel Baptist Church, where they engage in activities geared toward the homeless. He is married to Denise and has one daughter, Rosie and resides in Riverdale, GA.

Brian Williams, Sergeant at Arms

Born in Birmingham, Alabama and raised by Barbara and Otis Williams Sr., he attended school at Phillips High School. Brian worked in the Steel Mill and Railroad Industries. He has a passion to assist the homeless and has also worked closely with gang members. He currently works at the Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority. Brian is a good standing member in of the NAACP . He is married to Kim and together they have a daughter named Bailey. Brian also has two children, Brittany and Brian Jr. from a previous marriage.
Wayne Robinson, Treasurer

Born in Plainfield New Jersey Wayne Robinson is an accomplished author and educator. He has dedicated his life to providing survival education to many communities throughout the USA. He has been of great service to youth during many of our community events. He has also traveled internationally to provide supplies to children in need.
Meet Our Jamaica Representative

Claudette Marie Sangster - Jamaica
Known by many as Sandy, she was born in St. James, Jamaica and attended Chetwood Primary School and Anchovy High School. She is part of the Santoy Community Development Center in Hanover Parish. She is well liked in her community and is deeply concerned about the future of the children and the need for financial assistance and life skills instruction. She started a sewing class in 2014 for girls at the Flankers Junior High School, where she was the PTA President. She organized community men and women to function as mentors to teach discipline, life skills, careers and craft making in Moneague from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018 she served as the Director of Royal Farms in Four Paths, Jamaica where crops were grown, chickens were raised and children's field trips were offered . Since 2018 she has managed the operations of a new house/office in Old Harbor Bay which provides housing and G.I.A office space.
