Our Building Project in Old Harbour Bay, Jamaica
In 2018 we started erecting a multi-purpose building which will have a family residence, a rental area to produce income and a G.I.A. office. We are now in the final stages. Please feel free to help us with this project by giving a donation.
Carrots, scallions, green beans, corn, cabbage, beets and more were grown on the farm in Four Paths, Jamaica in 2018. We also raised organic chickens. See video below:
A. Omar Muhammad, President of G.I.A., Inc. went to Moneague Jamaica to build a chicken coop in October 2015. This project was a great way to get children involved and to provide building skills as well as develop a production of food by raising chickens. We plan to expand this program to involve more children from the community and provide field trip opportunities for some local schools.
G.I.A. Inc., visited the Flankers Junior High School in Montego Bay, Jamaica on January 8, 2015 and provided boys with a few tips in the sport of boxing but informed them that we were NOT promoting any form of bullying but instead we consistently teach them to do to others what they would like done to them. We also have a girls program at this same school and provide sewing instruction. We need financial assistance and volunteers for our mission work in Jamaica.
Jamaica Mission Trip March 2014
We are thankful that we were able to take 15 bags of items to Jamaica for distribution to schools and children in need. We thank the Honorable Mayor Glendon Harris of Montego Bay and Ms. Wauchoupe for assisting us with the delivery of goods including school supplies, toothbrushes and toothpaste, clothing and grooming products. We thank Barbara and Erick Muhammad of Successful Enterprises, LLC of Lithonia, GA who donated the majority of the items that we were blessed to deliver. We served over 400 children with the items provided. We also thank the Montford family, Bob Bradshaw and others who gave. The G.I.A., Inc team of A. Omar Muhammad, V.P. Roosevelt Nelson and his family, Lloyd Caldway and our Jamaica Representative, Sandy Sangster all did a fantastic job!
G.I.A., Inc. Attends Jamaica Day Celebration at the Church Hill Primary School 2/26/14
Mission trips to Jamaica include visits to Logwood Basic School, Right Start Kindegarten and Daycare and Church Hill Primary School. It is indeed a blessing to watch the children as they receive items donated by G.I.A., Inc. and donors from the USA. It was a surprise to be given an invitation by the Church Hill School to speak during their Jamaica Day Celebration in 2014. A. Omar Muhammad, President and Sandy Sangster, G.I.A. Representative, both had an opportunity to address the audience.

Haiti Mission 2015
A. Omar Muhammad, President of G.I.A., Inc. visited Haiti 6 days after the devastating earthquake of 2010 to assist families in need. He volunteered with a group hosted by Jean Henry Ceant and visited the Orchidee Camp under the leadership of Girovna Brice. He has been making additional alliances since his return with other groups in Haiti including USDC under the leadership of Tercier Daniel. There are many children in Haiti that are still in dire need of assistance. We are planning a mission trip to Haiti in 2015 to bring assistance and to learn what we can do on a continuous basis. If you would like to help please contact us at info@givinginitiatives.org. You can send care packages to G.I.A., Inc., 4300 Yeager Road, Douglasville, GA 30135
