Plainfield Against Killing

The Plainfield Stop the Killing program was held at Plainfield High School, 950 Park Avenue, Plainfield, NJ 07060 on May 28, 2011 starting at 1:00 PM and had a focus on motivating and inspiring the community with speakers, entertainers and solutions.  We will continue our efforts with your help.

Financial Totals for the Plainfield Against Killing Program included:
Total Donations = $5,760.00
Total Expenses = $5,220.00

Atlanta Star Search ~ A FREE EVENT!!!

Giving Initiatives and Alternatives hosted its first Atlanta Star Search at Underground Atlanta to benefit our mission and programs on Saturday, April 23, 2011. It was a program of great fun, food and an opportunity to see the stars of tomorrow. Celebrities from the Atlanta area, including actor/comedian, producer, director and author, Tommy Ford and his celebrity friends, including Rodney Perry and Kieth Sweat and others supported the Atlanta Star Search competition as judges and were available to greet our attendees. Mr. Ford served as Master of Ceremonies.

We enjoyed our Black History Talent Expo with our Special Guest Tommy Ford on February 19, 2011 at the Atlanta Urban Church located at 1766 Lakewood Avenue in Atlanta, GA 30315. The Event was FREE and Open to the public.
